East Grinstead’s annual Championship Obedience Show was held on 19th October at the South of England Showground in Ardingly. This is a prestigious and long-standing event licensed by the Kennel Club.
The Show was a great success with many club members involved in running the Show. There are jobs that anyone can help out with, no experience necessary, from helping to steward the stay exercises to being a ‘decoy’ in the scent exercises.
Pictured are the winners of the Championship classes:
The winners of Championship classes go forward to compete in the Crufts Obedience Championships in March 2020.
Well done to all who took part in a thoroughly enjoyable day.

On 10th December we had our annual dog Christmas party. The dogs came in fancy dress and the evening involved lots of fun games, with drinks and nibbles afterwards. The evening was enjoyed by all – human and dog!
We wish all our members a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and look forward to seeing you all again in January.
The AGM will take place on 18th March 2019. All members welcome. There will be no training this night.
